Here will be the indoor ring of pushbuttons and lights that can program patterns for the big ring. There will be a "real time" events at night where the rings are linked and whatever happens in the lounge will be matched in the big ring. During the day, the console operator can create patterns for playback later. There will be some mist coolers and a good sound system.
The dome will be 30 feet diameter. We will have one of the pipe domes from last year and skin it with some black PVC film under the white AG fabric so it will be dark and waterproof inside while strong and white outside. A ring of 200 3.5 inch wide circut boards will be around the inside of the dome. People can be wandering around pushing buttons and changing the lights moving around the room.
I'm thinking of a center support column to hold the chiller box, lights and speakers up at the top of the dome. This would be surrounded by pillows and junk furniture. The button ring will be on a wood support running around the dome wall at 5 Ft high. We should have a short (3Ft) tunnel for each of the four entry ways. We will need carpet. It would be really cool to get some neon.
There will be some lights in the ground leading into the lounge. Some optical art will be included.
